Dearborn Mayor Hammoud Wins Re-election, As Does Southfield Mayor Kenson Siver

Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud

Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud easily won re-election Tuesday night capturing 72 percent of the vote (18,531) compared to challenger Nagi Almudhegi's 28 percent (7,294).

In Dearborn Heights, where Mayor Bill Bazzi has been appointed ambassador to Tunisia, Mo Baydoun easily beat challenger Denise Malinowski Maxwell 68 percent (5,973) to 32 percent (2,781).

In another key race, Pontiac City Council President Mike McGuinness beat Kermit Williams 55 percent (4,683) to 45 percent (3,879).

In Southfield, incumbent Mayor Kenson Siver won re-election downing his opponent, former Council President Sylvia Jordan 52 percent to  47 percent.
