It's gotten to the point the 10-1 Detroit Lions can play great, or OK, or not so great, and still win. Sunday's 24-6 against the Indianapolis Colt is proof of that.

They played good, not great.

This was a game between one team that hopes to make the playoffs and another that's basically already clinched, and it played out exactly that way.

The Lions are just loaded enough that they can have an off game by some metrics, namely pass protection and coverage of the deep ball, and still win handily. They can go on a slow death march on offense, knowing they'll just continue to convert even on 3rd-and-long, and by minimizing the risk of sacks and interceptions, they took away the Colts' one lane to pulling an upset when Indianapolis is playing with such a compromised offense due to health and experience.
